JOHANNESBURG, July 27 (Xinhua) -- South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said Friday that BRICS leaders have agreed to cooperate in the fourth industrial revolution, while stressing the group was not a "talk shop."

Addressing a press briefing after the conclusion of the 10th BRICS Summit held in Johannesburg, Ramaphosa said nations within the bloc were willing to assist one another.

When asked to comment on China's contribution in terms of economic growth, he stated that relationships between China and other African nations were mutually beneficial.

"We see the relationship between China and other countries in Africa and indeed emerging countries as a mutual beneficial type of a relationship and that is why we see our relationships in BRICS as a win win. It is not one country benefiting itself to the exclusion of others," Ramaphosa said.

The president described the 10th BRICS Summit as a "resounding success."

Ramaphosa said that the BRICS group of emerging economies of Brazil, Russian, India, China and South Africa was at the forefront of driving change and not a talk shop.

"We discussed the importance and benefit of protecting the multilateral system that underpins stability in our world. This is not a talk shop. We are a group of countries that wish to take action on the words we speak," he said.

BRICS leaders spent the last three days deliberating on numerous issues including the importance of multilateralism, peace and security, trade links and economic development.

South Africa hosted the summit for the second time under the theme: "BRICS in Africa: Collaboration for Inclusive Growth and Shared Prosperity in the 4th Industrial Revolution."
