ANKARA, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Turkey received no sign at the latest Turkey-EU summit in Bulgaria's Varna that the bloc will display "a fair attitude' toward Ankara, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Tuesday.

Speaking at the ruling Justice and Development Party meeting in the parliament, Yildirim said "at the summit we could not see any signal that the EU's approach to us will be based on fair ground."

Turkey will maintain its perspective for full membership of the EU, however, the efforts should continue in a way that "suits the interests of both sides," Yildirim was quoted by Hurriyet Daily News as saying.

"We cannot allow the EU to wear Turkey out," Yildirim said, adding that Turkey has fulfilled its obligations to the EU.

The prime minister also slammed that EU sees Turkey's fight against terror organizations as an obstacle for bilateral relations, referring to EU's criticism on Ankara's crackdown in the wake of the coup attempt July, 2016.

Yildirim's remarks came one day after Turkey-EU summit held on Monday in the Bulgarian Black Sea resort with participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, European Council President Donald Tusk and EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

The EU and Turkey failed to reach any "concrete solutions or compromises" in talks in Varna, EU President Tusk said after the meeting.

EU leaders in Varna also expressed concerns about Turkey's ongoing military operations against Syrian Kurdish militia in northern Syria.
